GMSR is excited to announce that it will be expanding beyond its Los Angeles headquarters and opening a second office in San Francisco on April 1st, 2016. The addition of the new San Francisco office will support the firm’s growth strategy and enhance its accessibility to clients in both Southern and Northern California. GMSR also welcomes its newest partner, Laurie Hepler, who will anchor the San Francisco office.

Laurie Hepler is the former chair of the Appellate Practice Group at Carroll, Burdick & McDonough LLP. Laurie has been an active appellate lawyer for most of her 23-year career, advocating for clients in courts around the U.S. as well as in California. She is certified as a Specialist in Appellate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, and a member of the highly selective California Academy of Appellate Lawyers. She has twice received the prestigious California Lawyer Attorney of the Year award. Very unusual for an appellate lawyer, Laurie has also first-chaired three trials.
