As an appellate lawyer, Gary represents a wide range of corporate and private clients in both civil appeals and writ proceedings, including insurers, property owners, employers, public entities, bankruptcy creditors, and trademark-holders. He also regularly advises trial counsel on record preservation issues, drafting jury instructions and post-trial motions.
Before becoming a lawyer and joining GMSR, Gary worked as a film-industry executive developing and acquiring feature films for Oscar winning producers and distributors. He received a B.F.A. from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and a J.D. from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles.
