GMSR obtained an order directing entry of summary judgment in favor of its clients, who were threatened with the loss of their house on the basis that a lis pendens on the property subjected them to a fraudulent conveyance claim. The Court of Appeal’s opinion resolved numerous issues of first impression concerning lis pendens law, title insurance law and the elements of, and defenses to, fraudulent conveyance claims.
