Katarina began her legal career at GMSR as an Appellate Fellow. As a fellow, Katarina conducts legal research, assists in drafting briefs and articles, helps attorneys prepare for oral argument, and cite-checks briefs and motions.
Katarina received her law degree from UCLA School of Law, where she earned the highest grade in her Legal Research and Writing section and graduated in the top 10% of her class. During law school, she participated in the First Amendment Amicus Clinic, where she co-wrote, researched, and submitted amicus briefs to the Ninth Circuit, Fifth Circuit, and Washington State Court of Appeals. Katarina also helped to defend COVID-19 regulations as a Legal Fellow for the California Attorney General’s Office, conducted complex legislative research on behalf of UCLA faculty members, and provided direct legal services to low-income individuals as part of UCLA’s Name and Gender Change clinic.
In her free time, Katarina enjoys spending time with her cat, binge-watching competition reality TV, and attempting to learn new hobbies.
