Oliveros v. County of Los Angeles (2004) 120 Cal.App.4th 1389

The Court of Appeal reversed a $12.5 million judgment against GMSR’s public entity client. The trial court had refused to continue the trial despite the fact that the client’s trial attorney was engaged in another trial, thus forcing the client to proceed to trial without counsel.
