Mir v. Iungerich & Spackman (June 22, 2006, B184463) 2006 WL 1704061 (California Court of Appeal, Second District, Division Three (Los Angeles)) [nonpublished opinion]. Peter Israel wrote the respondent’s brief in this case. The Court of Appeal affirmed a judgment for appellate fees in favor of GMSR’s client, a law firm. The approved fees had been incurred defending from appellate attack GMSR’s client’s previous judgment (which had also awarded contractual fees in GMSR’s client’s favor and had also been affirmed on appeal). And this decision, like the underlying judgment, directs that GMSR’s client is entitled to its appellate fees for this appeal as well.
