Brandon Broukhim recently joined GMSR as an Appellate Fellow. In this role, Brandon helps GMSR attorneys draft briefs and motions, conducts legal research, cite-checks and proofreads briefs, and helps the firm’s attorneys prepare for oral argument.
Brandon earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2024. During law school, Brandon was the Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Journal of Sports and Entertainment Law, the Executive Editor of the Harvard National Security Journal, and the Executive Online Editor of the Harvard Journal on Legislation. He served as a Teaching Fellow for courses on constitutional law, federal budget policy, and Rationality. Brandon also worked as a research assistant to several professors on the Harvard Law School faculty.
Before joining GMSR, Brandon interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, a leading entertainment law firm in Los Angeles, and Protect Democracy (through the Harvard Democracy & Rule of Law Clinic), among other organizations. He has also contributed to Lawfare, an online publication covering issues at the intersection of national security and public law.
In his free time, Brandon enjoys watching movies and Curb Your Enthusiasm, attending concerts, and following international affairs and the L.A. Lakers.
