Alex Chemerinsky leverages behind-the-scenes experience at all stages of litigation to help bring winning arguments on behalf of GMSR clients.
Before joining GMSR, Alex was a law clerk to federal district court and federal appellate court judges. During his clerkships, Alex drafted orders and opinions in major civil cases brought before the District of Arizona and the Ninth and Tenth Circuits. Prior to law school, Alex saw litigation from an administrative perspective while working in the clerk’s office of the Louisiana Supreme Court.
Alex is a graduate of Harvard Law School. In his free time, Alex likes to write and speak about developing legal issues. His publications have appeared in the Oxford University Press, North Carolina Law Review, Tulsa Law Review, Los Angeles Times, and Bloomberg Law.
When Alex isn’t untangling complex legal questions, he enjoys skiing and snowboarding (which he thinks he does quite well), and surfing (which he knows he doesn’t).
